This website shows examples of what you can expect to find within our store but is not a true representation of current stock lines. Images are for illustrative and guidance purposes only.

Other than our Events page, we do not offer online shopping or click and collect from this website.

In Store Purchases

All our prices are shown inclusive of VAT, but exclusive of delivery charges.

We reserve the right to withdraw any item from sale, up to and including the point of transaction.

Returns Policy

  • To return products, please speak to our customer services desk.
  • You have 28 calendar days to return an item from the date on the receipt.
  • Products must be returned in their original packaging, unused & with tags with proof of purchase.
  • Refunds will be made in the manner of the original payment. Where you paid for products by payment card, refunds will be made by re-crediting your payment card account from which the money was originally debited. Where you paid for products using gift vouchers, refunds will be made in the form of a credit note of equivalent value. Where you part-paid for products using gift vouchers and the remainder by payment card, the amount charged to your payment card will be re-credited to your payment card account and the amount paid in gift vouchers will be made in the form of a credit note of equivalent value.
  • An exchange or credit note may be offered in the absence of a receipt but at the discretion of one of our management team.
  • Any returns from delivered products must be returned to store before reimbursement.


Certain items purchased in store, may be available for delivery. This can be ascertained by enquiring with a member of our team. All goods must be paid for before delivery arrangements are processed. All delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. We are unable to deliver Calor Gas.

Local delivery
• Free local delivery for all orders over £150.00.
• All orders under £150 will be charged at £10 per delivery.

Non-local deliveries 

• Mid-range deliveries free for all orders over £200. £15 delivery for orders under £200.

• Outer-range deliveries free for orders over £250. £20 delivery for orders under £250

London Congestion and ULEZ Charges:

The London congestion charge remains at £15, and any applicable emissions charges will be charged at exact rates.

A build charge will be applied to items where assembly is requested

  • Gas BBQ build £40
  • Bench build £20

A small selection of our products may be delivered directly by our suppliers. (Bulk bags of aggregates and some fencing items.) These deliveries have their own terms and conditions set out by the supplier. Please ask a member of staff for more details.

The Burston Hardy Plant Lifetime Guarantee

At Burston we pride ourselves on the quality of our plants. We therefore guarantee all hardy plants for life from the date of purchase.

A hardy plant is one that will withstand a normal winter outside. This therefore excludes bedding plants, half hardy plants and house plants.

If a hardy plant fails to thrive given all proper care, we will replace it free of charge or give you a credit note.

We will require you to return the plant and provide proof of purchase along with the plant label.

How we look after your personal information

Privacy and security

Burston takes your privacy very seriously. Subject to the terms of our Privacy Policy and these Terms, we will never give out your email address or contact details to any third party.

When you place an order with us on our Events page, we will ask for certain details to be able to make a contract for the sale and delivery of the event ticket/s. In addition to your name, address, credit card number and expiry date, we’ll also ask you for a telephone number in case of any problems regarding the event. You may also be required to provide information pertaining to third parties attending the event. You can rest assured that our website is fully secure and uses the most up to date secure server software which keeps the information you give us safe.

Our Privacy Policy sets out how any information held by us about you may be processed or dealt with. By proceeding to place your order for an event, or applying to become a Friend of Burston, you consent that we may process the personal data (including sensitive personal data) that we collect from you in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
